Mass Emailing – Higher Ground uses its MannaMail software to conduct emailing for churches of items such as newsletters, announcements, bulletins, etc. MannaMail is based on the LISTSERV® Maestro system, which is a complete email software solution. It allows you to manage and track sophisticated, database-driven email campaigns with an easy-to-use interface which guides you through each step of the campaign development process – from message creation to response evaluation and analysis.
The church manages MannaMail in-house. You plan and structure the email yourself, actually send it through Higher Ground’s server, and review and analyze the statistics as you want. We offer various levels of support, but find that most users chose, and work very well within, the minimum level.
MannaMail works with your existing infrastructure. Instead of forcing you to duplicate and transfer your data into a new database, it easily connects with your existing database system.
Since your church emailings are sent to members and interested parties, you do not want them to falsely be labeled as SPAM and not be allowed to get through various buffers and firewalls. The emailings are automatically structured and timed by the software to decrease the likelihood of being tagged as SPAM.
MannaMail’s special facilities include counts and specific identification of: erroneous addresses, opened emails, “click-throughs” to embedded web sites, and other valuable statistics. Emails, such as newsletters, can have embedded links to connect interested readers to expanded detail regarding certain subjects. These links can be traced to individual users to facilitate such uses as reservations for coming events or simply to gage the interest in certain programs.
MannaMail facilitates churches easily updating and maintaining their databases for emails, with identification of erroneous email addresses and an easy-to-use “Unsubscribe” feature.
